Looking for a DEI 520T battery back up module. Doesn't matter if its new or used. Anyone who has a few laying around and can hook me up, please let me know.
I do not require the battery, only the module along with the wiring harness.
Regards

I know they do, but they are asking an insane dollar value for them. I also looked on Ebay, found some for a reasonable price, but dont want to get hit on the S&H.
Hoping one of the guys who work on the product may have a spare laying around, or can get me one for around $15-20.00.
Let me know guys.

You are wanting to pay $15-20 for just the harness, but a new 520T from Best Buy is only $39.99.

Yes in USD, the guys here in Canada want $75.00 before 14% tax. 520T Back Up Battery - Last Post -- posted image.
I wont pay that amount for something so simple. I will probably need about 3-5 of them as well.
So cost will be a factor in the end. Someone let me know, either way.

Perhaps I will simply have to buy one unit, and copy the component outline, and make the other 3 myself.
Just didnt really want to break out the kit to do such a small circuit pad. Maybe I will consider buying a few small perf boards to make it go quicker in the build process.
I hate dealing with that nasty etching acid mix. 520T Back Up Battery - Last Post -- posted image.

If you end up doing this, would there be any chance you'd be willing to make a few extra and sell them? I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd certainly be willing to pay $10 each for 3 or 4... I have no idea if that would make it worth your time or not...

This week-end I will most likely purchase a unit from the store. Then, assemble all the needed parts and make a test copy of the unit.
If it turns out as nice as I expect. I will let you know the costs for all the parts, and you simply pay for the shipping, OK.
