my cadence z1200 automaticly goes into protect when i turn on head unit . it was working fine until this began amp automaticly goes into protect -- posted image.

Check that your ground wire is attached. I found that if you lose you groung your amp will go into protection

If any gear is "working fine" and then stops working, something has either changed or been changed, or something has broken.

Have you changed anything in the system? If not, have you checked everything in the system to make sure nothing got changed (or nothing came loose) without your knowledge? If the hookup all appears to be OK, something has broken. Disconnect your speakers and see if the amp will power up. If it does, you have blown speakers or defective speaker wiring. If it does not, the amp or your power system has a fault, or your signal to the amp is grounded out. Good luck.

Where do you have it grounded? That is the first thing I would check.

If the other suggestions come up empty, you might want to check the voltage at the amp. If your alternator suddenly went wacky and is putting out too little or too much voltage, this could cause that too.

Be sure all your ground / power / remote / rca / speaker wires. All these maybe a cause of your amplifier to go into protection mode. Be sure they are well attached firmly, and are not loose in any way. Also, speaker wire could be touching each other. This is the only solution that i can come up with. Other than the wiring problems. Your amp could be just ruined. Do not do any of the maitainence while your amp is running. It would have to be done in an on / off procedure.
