Just wondering if anyone knows of a site that has a good tutorial on how to wrap projects and things with vinyl.  I recently wrapped a mold that holds a 7.2 inch monitor for a friend of mine.  It turned out not to bad except for 2 corners ended up with stretch marks.  I only used the cheaper vinyl....the type that only stretches one way.  And i think that that might be the reason it did that...but i just wanna read over a few tutorials and keep trying to get better at wrapping.  Any site ideas???

moms always know lots about that stuff!!  My mom reccomended that i heat up the vinyl with a hair dryer, , then stretch it over what you want it to fit on, , then when it cools off it shrinks and pulls tight.

I use a heat gun on low and that seems to work well.As alpineguy said when it cools it will shrink to form. If I'm wrapping a mold, I built a heat box. It's a bow with 2 heat lamps in it. I set the vinyl in a jig and put it in the box for a while and when it's hot enough, I press the mold into the vinyl. I seen this done on a video a while ago and works great on small molds ( kick panel, monitors etc.. )
