I installed a remote start/alarm/keyless entry in my s-10. When i push the remote start it will crank, but it wont start. Besides the one yellow ignition wire, is there anything i am missing?

Assuming you are saying, that the truck turns over, however wont stay running? If thats the case, you need to connect the Tach wire from the alarm to the Tach circuit and program the alarm with that input. Hopefully, that will fix your problem. Good luck.

I have the tach hooked up, wire number 20, 4 in from the side. its white. I programmed the tach rate, the engine cranks, but it is like there is no spark, or no fuel. If, I have the Ign 1 and 2 hooked up wrong, would this cause that proble, and why? I dont have passlock, my keys are not vats, or the one with the chip in the head, so thats not my problem. Thanks

okay, i got the 555L.  But still no start.

There are two yellow wires coming out of the collumn, one if you cut, the truck wont crank. thats the one i hooked the starter interupt to. The other if you cut, the truck will crank, but not fire, or fire and die. Thats the one i hooked up to the 555l. I am using a prestige aps786. I can start the truck by key, and remote start if the key in in the run position. but i still cannot remote start. I dont think the status wire on the 555l is hooked up right. does anyone know what the right connections are, or any kind of help at all. this is driving me insane.

if the 555l is hooked up right then you will have to check the status input. im not framiliar with the alarm you have but i know that you must have the status input connected. also you must hook up the third ignition the small white wire.
let me know how it goes
