Help. I am finally in the finishing phases of my stereo install but I have run into a problem. I am adding a secondary battery which my stereo will run off of. This Optima Yellow top has to posts and side posts. I was going to run 0 awg wire from the pos. lead on the primary battery to the pos. top post on the secondary battery. Then I was going to have 0 awg wire going from the side post to my d-block for my amps. Anyway, come to find out, the side posts aren't meant to have that much current drawn from them, so it appears that I need to find a way to have two 0 AWG wires going from the pos. top post of the battery. I can't seem to find such a pos. battery terminal w/ two 0 awg outputs (the one's I currently have, have one 0 awg, one 4 awg, and two 8 awg outputs). Any suggestions on what I might do?
Thanks
PS - I just a sticker on the battery that says it needs to be in a ventilated area. It was going to be in my spare tire well w/ the MDF amp rack above it. Is this a problem?

You can use a stinger SXBT dual 4 or dual 0 , or a SXBTM same as the first one but this as a volt meter on it.   First one is like $40, 2nd one is close to $60.

I have the SXBT in my truck for my 1/0 awg, it looks wild!  Its stingers Expert series.

www.darvex.com can get that stuff, , just e-maill them if its not on the site.
