Hey guys, I am new to the site.

I just bought an Autopage RF-520LCD for my 2004 F-150.  I didn't do enough friggin research on this thing before I bought it.  I wanted a 2-way, but RS was not a concern, so I found this and bought it.  Now I am going through the box and to my dismay, there is a single tone siren, which is not a big deal I can get a new one.  Also, I find no provision for a battery backup, not even the 9-volt type(audiovox uses this). I also realized that this is an AM operated unit, so now I am worried about the effectiveness of the 2-way system.  There are some different wiring descriptors than what I am used to, although I do not have the book here for them specifically.

Bottom line, I can't find a whole lot of info on this system, does anyone else have any input on this????? Should I just take it back and get a different unit?   Also anyone have any wire diagrams for the 04 F-150 yet, I found a vague one from Omega and that will help, but more info is always better.

Here's the wiring information: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=25841&KW=2004+Ford+F150

As far as the Autopage, there's no real information ont his system. You'll have to get the information from the dealer.
