nothing already has the hardener in it, if it did it would be hardened before it ever made it off the production line.

Actually, I used Bondo Filler Putty. Just a tube of liquid (pre-mixed, I guess), to fill in pits from Bondo work. Works really well, and no smell. Hardens and sands super nice. Red, though, kinda wierd.

That's what I use, I get that in Home Depot.  Autozone also sells the same thing in a different container and it also has a different color, but it's also made by Bondo.

The Bondo brand resin works but I avoid it if possible. It's not the best (but like I said, it will work). You're better off getting a decent ($20-25/gal) resin from a marine supply or auto body supply. Of course you can always mail order it from US Composites.

Auto body supply houses will carry it or something like it (Everglass, Marglass, etc.). US Composites carries it if you have to mail order.

So I take it that the duraglass is one a better brand than the bondo stuff and two that it is better than just using regular bondo. Am I right or wrong please explain?  Also what makes the duraglass better than regular filler

What's so bad about Bondo brand resin?  Just curious.  I only find it a pain in the a$$ to buy resin online cause I have always found it to be more expensive than $25, plus about $10 shipping.  quick resin question? -- posted image.

There are a lot better brands of body filler than Bondo. That's my opinion but then I'm a Rage Gold convert.
