Starter Duration

The unit did come with starter kill relay that was listed in the installtion instructions as optional.  I did not use.  Seems that again, this could not be the cause due to the fact when I set the starter time to a preset duration it works fine.  So in essence.............

Wait I should check to see when the remote start kills voltage to the starter in relationship to when the starter actually stops grinding.  If I have the manual start time set at 0.6 and the starter is indeed still being backfed as you suggested I would never know because I chose the start time due to my approval on the way the entire operation sounded not because I actually know that during normal operation the engine required that starter time.  In other words it could still be delayed I have just compesated for it by setting it at a lower starter time. Did I lose you?

I hate this AUTOPAGE.  No one will answer my e-mail at the manufacturer and it is not supported very well in my area.  I found a used Astroflex 4204 in the paper.  Anyone have install instructions for it?  Better yet anyone want an AUTOPAGE RS 850LCD..................slightly used.

Thanks much for the help Teken.  The unit is not functioning correctly or I am unable to make function correctly.  I did finally get in touch with a tech support guy at AUTOPAGE and he was helpfull, brief but helpfull.  Basically everything has been connected to the right places without the desired result.  Chalk it up to a learning experience. 

I ordered a compustar 2WSS-AS this afternoon.  Heard lots of good about them and they appear to be supported well.  I'll get it Weds and let you know how the end result is.
