How many people actually buy 18's vs. 10's and 12's? The market is so small that to carry a box this large that usually will not fit most vehicles leaves these boxes sitting in the store collecting dust.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Rob hit it right on the head, supply and demand. Also think about how hard it would be to put a prefab box for an 18 into a vehicle.

Im not sure where your from but im from the Houston area. There are about a dozen huge Flea markets in the area most of which have some kind of Pre Fab box for 18s. But then again most of them have 2 inches of dust on them also.

When I was a JL dealer,we sold more 18W6 and 18W3 than any dealer in ND.Not one of my boxes were the same.Supply and Demand.Hell you can build a box that better fits you vehicle anyway.
