I heard these are a whole lot better then the L7's is it true.

Also looking for some good SQ subs but also would be real loud. Anyone have any favorites? 15"s or 18'S only thanx.

I guess that guy has subs.

I have only heard one Digital Designs sub.  Not sure the model number, but it was a 15, and running off a mx autotek 3000W amp.  Its the loudest one sub setup ive heard. It was in the trunk of a 05 bonneville.  The trunk panels were flexing in and out!  Every panel on the car was rattling, the lisence plate was only held on by two screws, every time the bass hit it would be pushed 1 or 2 inches off the trunk!!  It was louder then 2 solo L7 12s, and louder then most 2 15" setups ive heard.  If you have the money they are definatly worth it if you want to get insanely loud.

Heres the link to there site http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/default.asp.  They have prices (MUCH more expensive then the solos), and order forms.  Damn id like a pair of those...

i have an article in one of my auto sound and security mags. this one guy had a 15" DD sub in a car. did 170db's. it was hooked up to a single viper amp. with about 8 batteries. pretty impressive if you ask me.

you need to be aware that this brand of sub's require enormous enclosure space. i think a 12 is some near 5 cuft.? but from a personal perspective the subs are definately loud but i don't much like the sound of them

The with the DD sub I saw had a HUGE box for it, took two people to carry, and was close to two inches thick.  Whatever type of wood it was made out of it wasnt MDF.  Crazy stuff.
