Ok, here's the deal.  I've got a 97 FIrehawk (Firebird) w/ Monsoon system in it.  This uses the standard GM wiring interface from the 90s.  I would like to fit an 02/03 Grand Am Monsoon head unit (w/MP3) into this system.  Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the new Monsoon head units or know where I can find one?  I know, why bother doing all this work to keep a stock system, but I would like to keep a factory look while gaining the MP3, 8 band EQ, and CD/Cass capabilities of the newer head unit.

I beleive the 2003 Grand-Am Radio is a DATA type radio which goes thru the Body Control Module & U would find it pretty hard to get it to work with your 97

I didn't realize it was a different size, is it double din instead of the 1.5 din in the older GM cars?  Oh well, I went ahead and found another solution anyway.  Thanks for all the info.
