k when you ahve to amps, do you need 2 wiring kits for each to hook up directly to the battery. because i noticed the sum out on my amp. and was wondering if i just use rca's from that amp to power the next amp? is this true?

Ya but i think sum output is a mono signal. If its going out to the sub amp its fine but for anything else you wont have balance control

as far as your power connection to the battery , you can and should just use one wire to the amp location and then use a"distrabution block" to run power cables to the second amp. You can do the same with the ground. As far as your RCAs go , there's several ways to hook those up depending on how your setting up your system.
