i've got a haunted 1992 eagle talon...everytime you hit the brakes the radio speakers shut down momentarily theengine rpm drops by about 25 rpm and the interior lights dim. the alternator checks good the battery checks good and the engine chassis grounds are good the radio ground is good there are no wires puling out of the fuse block as the petal is matched ......i'm kinda at a loss ....any input outside of five galons of gas and a match would be appriciated

What sort of tests did you perform on the electrical charging system to verify its integrity?
I am assuming you performed a static, and dynamic test(s) to obtain the information . . .

Does it do this when the car is motion or at rest?

You may have a short in the brake lights, maybe a bad bulb, but that much power draw sound like you have a much more serious problem.  Any chance that you ran your power wire near you brake pedal, and is shorting when you apply the brakes?

Throat punch the gremlins, cursed little buggers. Does it do this under hard braking or light braking or any combination of all types of braking. Are there any wires run anywhere near the brake pedal and it's range of motion?
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

You have a short somewhere check all wires around brake pedal and arm, also check the wires that have anything to do with the braking system, at the bulbs etc....

Hope this helps,
