Hi...I need to know what really we need to watch when we installing Video system in cars or in roof....share some experince with us to help out....Mobile Installer

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Well one thing to be careful of is to not drill through the roof which i know sounds stupid but INSTALLERS Do.

OK well its pretty simple doing the roof mounts but one thing to really be cautious about is how the monitor rests agains the roof plenty of times i see an install where it just does not hang correctly and should be bracketed a little better. Try not to use electrical tape up there for wiring becuase this is one of the places where electrical tape will just bake right off because it gets so hot in those pockets between the roof and the headliner..
