Do the door triggers in a 92 civic 4 door have to be wired seperate?

I tapped the drivers side at the switch, but only the drivers door will set off the alarm....

Thats the wire that I tapped, but for some reason only the drivers door sets the alarm off.

You checked both wires in the running board?

Only one I tried was the GREEN/ red that goes to the switch.

Tapped that one, open drivers door and the alarm went off so I figured that was it. Then like 2 days later a friend opened the pasanger door without setting it off.

Blah, murphy's law I tell ya :)

I'll have to pull the carpet back again in the morning and see if I can find another wire. Couldn't I tap of the (-) dome like wire? Or would that only set it off if I remember to leave the dome light on auto?

Try and see if you can locate the correct wire in the running board first. Then post your results and let us know.
