Can someone help me find out where is the door trigger wire located at on a 2001 prelude, should be the same as the 2000. In the database it showed that it's BLACK/ white. I looked all over for the wire and ended up pulling off the door pillars to see where the dome light wires run to. I found that the dome light wires runs down from the passenger side pillar. I tackled the wire in the passenger kick panel, but when i tested it, It didn't test right, but a WHITE/ black wire tested right. It's wierd because that wire looses ground after a few minutes then you would have to tap the door switches to engage it again. I noticed the dome light will turn off, if you leave the door open awhile. Should I use this WHITE/ black wire I found? or this isn't the proper wire? Also, I had a problem finding the trunk pin wire on the driver side. I found the ORANGE / silver dots wire but it didn't test right. Then I moved to the passenger side kick panel and found the ORANGE / silver dots, and that tested right. So where is the ORANGE / silver dot wire on the driver side? Can someone help me out. Thanks

  • TRUNK/HATCH PIN-------orange--------------------located in a white plug just behind the cruise control switch.
