Passlock 2, Obtaining Resitor Value?

ok i know how to obtain the resistance value, but i just want to verify which wires i need to hook together with the resistace.

from the black wire...resistors.... to the key side of the yellow wire?

oh yeah it's on a 2000 Impala.

the resistor will go from the ORANGE / black to the PLII side of the yellow wire.. not the key side..

people keep saying the ORANGE / black wire?  the wires that i have are yellow,bleack,white.  there are located on the middle of the ignition harness and are partially taped together. so would those be them? if so do i substitte the ORANGE / black with the black?

Resistor goes on BLACK wire but if you want to permanently disable Passlock you use the YELLOW module side wire and leave keyside unattached.

actally is depends on the car.. they can be black, yellow and red\white, or orange\black, yellow and RED / white.. ..

Since when does GM have to many ANY sence whatsoever??

sounds like you have passlock I system not II. with those wire colors

velocity has permenent bypass relay diagram
