amp advice

hey guys,

looking at buying a new amp, either a jl audio 75x4 or an alpine 50x4, what one would you guys recommend/ the model number on the jl is the 4300 i dont remember what it was for the alpine. the other option is a phoenix gold 75x4 i belive the model number was 504 on that one. these are the only 3 i have available locally.

it will be powering phoenix gold 5.25 tantrum and 6x9 alpine type r in the rear.

any advice greatly appreciated

the alpine is the best price at 299, 329 for the phoenix gold and 359 for the jl audio

canadian tire has a pionner 35x4 for 199, a lot cheaper then the others, would it be any good? I dont even have any subs, just wnat to boost the sound a bit. i may add a sub someday.

 What store you find the alpine at?

What are the model numbers?  You really need that for a head to head comparison of these amps.  They are all good manufactures.

If you are going to be adding a sub one day, get the slightly larger amp to power the speakers.

no, don't even think of power acoustik. I would recommend the alpine amp, as i have worked with them in the past and they sound great. Just get good connections to them. (4-8) guage wire. Probably 8 will be plenty.
