Hey
Just brought myself a new alarm to install. Looking over the wiring diagram and I found that it needs to be linked to the brake light? Its weird because its not a remote start alarm.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Only thing that comes to my head is that  it acts like a door trigger. So your probably right about it being a foot brake trigger.

How would it work? Maybe a would-be thief can get through your shock and door triggers... This is the first alarm with a brake light trigger withOUT a remote start that Ive heard of so... Im guessing alot of people never heard of this trigger. So just think of it as an extra theft prevention/deterrent measure

Not sure if it is input. When I hook up the alarm tomorrow I will put a multimeter on it.
Thanks
