compustar remote programming

i've try numerous time programming the remove without success. 

the sequence were: 

ignition on/off 5 time rapidly

hear one click

insert battery

click twice

and that was it as far as i got.

non of the function works except the tach sensing button, it did chirped once when i press it.  i believe the wiring were installed correctly, what else am i missing?

AFTER TURN ON OFF 5 TIME YOU HEAR 1 CLICK NOT THING WRONG WITH WIRE

WHEN HEAR 1 CLICK PUT BATERY IN REMOTE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING ESL FOR YOU

IF DON'T WORK YOU MAY WANT REMOTE BATTERTY FOR YOUR CAR  5 MIN THEN TRY AGIAN

im not sure if i understand this, im getting two different story here.

dauber, you say after the 5 switch, hear one click and press the first button.  so you mean the battery are still in there?

xtremeaudio, said put batt in after hearing the one click, what about pressing the first button like dauber say?

leave battery in remote, and when you cycle the ign 5 times the park lights flash once, and then press button 1, when you hear it cycle twice, it's out of remote "learning"..

leave the battery IN!!!!!! no need to take it out..  [[ in the remote ]]]

The compustar manual sucks. I  discovered that the first 5 times the brain will enter valet mode. Then turn another 5 times will enter programming mode. Follow the proceedure insert battery of pager and push I button once on 1way remote. you should have it programmed. Hope this help.

I still tried to figure out how to program the option of the brain. i.e. igniton controlled door lock.... Following the installation guide many times without success.  It exit option program mode when I press 2 times IV button without waiting .

if u have a SS model it is five times, leave on then put the battery in, if it is any other model (FM, AM, 900FM) 5 times and press button 1.
