type s?

ive never heard the type s in car... i'm looking for component speakers in the 200-250 range and i want as much midbass as  i can get. maybe like 55-65 hz? I will be powering these speakers with a 80x2 rms alpine 2 channel amp... Anyone got any other reccomendations becuase i liked the way the type s's sounded like compared to everything else in there price range... but im totally unsure of in car midbass?everything stolen :(
