I got a Navmate, i need to hook up to my speen sense. It ask for either a Square or a Sine wave. Which one is my car. its a Elentra 03. i know the wire is a gray/orange. Just out of courius waht happens if i had the wrong one hook up.

The VSS pulse from a computer or module is a square wave. The pulse from a speed pulse generator is a sine wave. The Navigation system won't be able to acurately detect that the vehicle is in motion.

if you dont know,and dont have access to an oscilloscope (sp?)..try one,see how it works then try the other.. one will work better,or it won't matter much..
