LED underbody kits are the brightest, most durable and cool underbody kits out there. If you crack a neon tube, the gas escapes and it's junk. crack an led tube and the led's are still enclosed. not good for it, but it'll still work. you get a bunch of cool flash-pattern choices with led's; neons are just on and off. also, led's are less draw than neon tubes, so you can leave them on as long as you want. I have a 99 grand am and a varad led underbody kit, and the patterns the varad kit has are waaaay cooler than the streetglow led kit, plus the controller for the varad kit is compact and clean looking, the streetglow kit is plug and play, but the controller is big and goofy one button. neons are old technology

I tell it like it is...

Yeah I would have to agree with the LED's being much better. I bought a kit off of Ebay for 60 dollars shipped...I think the brand was Autoglow or something like that...and I haven't been dissapointed! They are freaking bright and the flashing patterns are some fun. I left mine on by accident for 8 hours while I was at school and I came back and everything was still good!
