I have 2 JL Audio 12W0-4's in a sealed box.  Is anybody clear on the affects of mounting your subs with the magnets out?  Do you have to adjust the polarity? Will they be out of phase?

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Not that the 12W0 has a nice magnet to show off, but my box is only 1.14 cu.ft, and I could use the extra volume that my magnets would take up.

In case you need to know, I have....

Alpine CD Player (CDA-7893)

JL Audio 500/5 amplifier (250W RMS Subwoofer Channel)

JL Audio 12W0 Subwoofer (two of them)

4 Speakers (pioneer and polk)

4 Gauge wiring and a 1 farad capacitor.

Anything will help, I know I can always test it out to see how it sounds but I am lazy. Thank you.
