I know this topic has probably been posted before but I can't find it anywhere.  I was thinking of upgrading to 2 12 JL W7's.  I currently have 2 JL 12W6v2's.  Don't get me wrong I love these speaker but more is always better and I have the amp power and car power to push them hard.  I have never heard W7's before and don't know if they are even a big difference from the W6v2's.    There is no where around here i can go listen to any either.  Can some of you give my your opinon before I go and spend 500 a piece on these.  Thank for your help.

I would go w/ the 13w7.  But for like a couple hundred less then yeah the 12w7 is still really nice.  The w7's are the mother of sq.  An upgrade from the w6v2 but not a HUGE difference in my oppinion.  If you want a little more power and better sq then yeah the w7 is for you.

Oh and the 12w7 has .5" more xmax then the w6v2 i think.  It'll make a difference to you I bet.  While you're at it get me one to ok?  I only want one 10w7.   W7's -- posted image.

Well first things first where can you get to12 W7's for $500 a piece because I want a piece of that action..  But to answer you from my experience, the W7's add alot on lower frequencies.  My personal opinion is it is not worth the extra $ but if you can get them for $500 I would just because they are the alpha omega of subs..     But to me the W6v2's are the best all around sub on the market..

I stick with Adire Brahma's lol .... W7's are good though but the Brahma is its equal for about 1/2 the price. Whoever dares say XPLOD or Pyle audio (Forgive me god for i have sworn) shall suffer the fires of hell lol.

Fatgotti, there is a web site that sells them for $500 a piece.  The reason I can get them so cheap is they do a military discount, but without that they only charge about $530 a piece.  It is reliable because that is where I got the W6v2's from and my head unit.  Thank you everyone for all your help
