Sup I have a 01' Silverado, and curious to why the "service engine soon" light is on when the truck is started by remote or by key? I already unhook the battery and reset it. It happened after the alarm was installed, and also does the Clifford RS 3.5 remote have a light? How do I program the light if so? One more Q, how do I program the remote for remote starter to be the trunk button? Right now its Lock/Unlock is the lock button and remote start is the unlock.........Thanx!

yes it has a light....  you program illumination on or off thru the remote.... i leave mine off as these things are hard enough on batteries as it is......

the little book owners manual you got with it should tell you how this is done.....

press all 4 remote buttons at once, then press unlock and the orange light should come on, just the same as the viper remotes.

Well the 'service engine soon" light came back on, and it was runnin' okay this morning. I left for lunch and my truck WOULDNT shift out of first, what could cause these problems? What wire are you supposed to tap into for the remote start? HELP ASAP! Thanx!

on the 5.3 does the 2nd ignition wire have to be wired up? Could that be causing this problem? Thanx!
