I have installed a Crimestopper RS901 remote start add-on to the truck.  To engage the remote start it must get 3 ground pulses.  I used a 1A relay from the horn to engage it.  All you have to do is press lock three times and it honks 3 times.  It works if I honk the horn 3 times manually but when I use the remote it either does not have enough voltage to run the relay or it does not honk long enough.  Does anyone have any ideas what to do?  It does not have to be the horn. thanks

Did U tie both the Horn and the Negative trigger wire from RS together?

If so you may need 2 Relays to accomplish honk & RS

if memory serves, the horn out from the factory keyless and from the steering column are different. I'd find the POSITIVE horn wire under the hood and use a relay to switch it to negative there.

I used the 12v signal at the horn ran a wire back to the cab where I used a relay to send a ground to the rs.  It works if I honk the horn at the steering wheel 3 times, but if I hit lock 3 times to make the horn honk it is quiter and does not trigger a rs.  It either is to short of a honk or there is not enough voltage.

The BCM absorbs the horn chirps. So you need to go off the lock motor wire.
