I have a 2002 cavalier, I need some help on why the theft light, brake light and service light stay on after disarming alarm.
I have a sidewinder 5000, dei product, now the problem is coming from the 2 relay horn honk using the domelight supervision on the brain. I have everything hooked up right, but when disarming these lights light up until the relay closes.
What do I need to do to turn the lights off? use an additional diode?
any help appreciated.

Sounds like there's a relay that's giving power to the primary ign wire? Did you install the system or did someone else ?

I installed the alarm myself, the only thing I have hooked up to the main ign wire is the alarm and the starter kill. I am using the orange wire to signal the horn relay, which is diode isolated. Maybe I will put a diode on the starter kill side and see if it that is the problem. Thanks for your help so far, I will test this tomorrow and let you know.
Thanks shawn
