Can anyone tells me anything on Velodyne Subs and also I will like a good and cool installation in a 4Runner for SQ.. Thanks

The velodyne subwoofers are home application subs ( the ones that I know of ) and they sound GREAT !! I had a room mate that had 2 15 " self-powered Velodyne subs and they rocked the house. If they have auto specific subs , I'm sure they will sound good in the proper enclosure.

They are the Servo Subs for automotive the model is DF12SC I heard that they are $1,000.00 each and that the sound on them is different then any sub..

For the home theatre audio, Velodyne technology uses a velocity sensor to fine tune output movement of the driver to the incoming signal. Im not an engineer - dont ask me how. Check out the site. Pretty sophisticated stuff and pricey too. I think the 18" has a 1000 watt amp.

With regards to Jeff's post, 2- Velodyne 15's??? His neighbors are probably scheming to kill him. One 15 is sure to have the cops come knocking.

Hey F4pilot.... your not kidding.... he's kind of a different fruit when it comes down to home theatre. When everyone else was playing their tapes and VHS tapes he had CD's and LD's already. Funny thing is that he lives in an apartment type complex Subs -- posted image.
