Hi i just bought a 03 kicker solo baric L7 12"subwoofer and a matching kicker 1.21cft sealed box, i went sealed because i wanted this sub to hit mad low. I am running 800w rms with a audiobahn a8000t mono sub amp.  The thing is, is this sub isnt getting near as loud as i thought it would.. I'am wondering if i should build a 3.0 ported spl box for this? but i want real low bass in my 97 eclipse hatchback.

If anyone knows what i should remix to get this sounding better please let me know!!

A ported box will give you lower and louder sound.  Tune the port to the kicker recomendations.  It should thump and play the low lows.

Port the box and consider a new amp, I doubt that audiobahn is putting out 800W.
