Does anyone have any experience with these subs or heard them? They have the same spec's as the Power Acoustik MOFO series, give me your opinions and any suggestions.

SPL is made by Power Acoustik and is considered a lower level line than their main brand.

They sell those things at my local flea market, right alongside legact, lanzar, pyle, explorer, pyramid, etc.  I've never heard one that I can recall, but I would assume they are not very good.  A friend of mine has a SPL amp, its decent, but it doesnt put out anywhere near the 1200W it claims it does.

SPL is made by Power Acoustik but, yes, as was stated SPL is a lower grade than the Power Acoustik stuff. Power Acoustik has their own line of SPL series which is good IMO. I have a PS2-820 amp powering a RFP3812 at ~400 watts and it pushes withing 10 to 15 percent of its rated power at 12.5v and it pushes about 10 to 20 percent over its rated power at 14.5v, I'd suggest passing up the actual SPL brand name, and looking at the SPL2 series of Power Acoustik, they're economy equipment that will last and is good quality.
