Long shot but  a good idea.  I will try it.  I just checked the truns switch tht operates the light and its fine.  I checked it with a meter and it functioned normally.  Im going to go pull the battery and try that.

Tried locking the doors, quickly pulling the batteries on the remote and it still went wacko.  I sure hope I dont have to go to ford.  Really cant aford that but I guess at this point i may have no choice. UGH!  Thanks again

Heres what has seemed to fix it.  In the trunk there is a sensor hooked to the key cylinder.  I disconnected it and it seems to be fine now.Tome will tell if it is the long term fix that i needed.  Thanks again for all the help.
