Well here would be a good way to run them. I use this diagram alot.

Option one or two would be just good. Depending on your amp!

those things are gonna be way underpowered.you could probably put 1000 watts on each one of those things. Are you going ported or sealed with your enclosure? Are they 3 ohms per coil?or are they 3 ohms per sub?if they are 3 ohms per sub you could either wire them parallel for a 1.5 ohm load or wire in series for a 6 ohm load.If your amp will be stable at that 1.5 ohm load thats what i'd shoot for because at 6 ohms your not gonna get much power.if they are dual 3 ohm voice coil subs you could do some series-parallel wiring and get a 3 ohm load to the amp or do some series wiring and get a 12 ohm load which would suck.the choice is yours.Wire them as low as your amp will handle for the most power.

db160 is clearly not that informed if he says that 1000 W from a US AMP isn't enough to power two of those bad boys. What u can do is run those suckers up parallel so you can achieve a 1.5 ohm load which is stable by that amp. W7's are single 3 ohm, so that is what you should do to utilize your power. Remember, it is 1000 W RMS into a 2 ohm load, so your pushing about 1500 WRMS at 1.5 ohms, so henceforth 750 WRMS x 2 to those speakers, and boy they will crank. I have heard them at 1000 W input before and it is nothing u can't achieve with 750 W of especially US AMP power. FYI  -  US Amps make the best out there in the amplifier companies. Built right here in Florida by hand, these bad boys are the most efficient things you will ever see. You will definitely not be dissappointed. Enjoy your fine audio products.

why would you spend so much on a pair of subs and then not even push them to their full potential? I never said it wouldn't slam with that much power but just think about how much cleaner and louder it could be if you had enough extra power on tap to utilize the full capabilities of the subwoofer.Thats like buying a viper and never putting the pedal all the way to the floor.

Most likely because he does not wish to put out any more money, and just use what he has.  I would have to agree, selll the current amp, and get maybe a 500/1 jl amp. But hez probably already spending $1000 or so just for the subs. Not sure what the deal is, but seems like he has a financial problem. Well good luck with your w7's
