Hello,

I am getting ready to install this alarm on a 1999 Corolla, and have already found the wires int he car i need to do the install. BUT I would like to ask a question about the H1 harness wiring. The manual explains the wires, but I am not sure exactly where to hook some up..

H1 orange wire- Manual says This wire supplies a (-)500 ma ground as long as the system is armed. This output ceases as soon as the system is disarmed.

I assume this is just a ground wire?

WHITE/ BLUE remote start- Manual says this input comes from the factory set to 2 activation pulses. This means that it is necessary to have 2 consecutive ground pulses on the WHITE/ blue wire for the remote start to activate or deactivate.

Where do they want this wire to be hooked up?/ Another ground wire?

BLACK/ WHITE domelight supervision- Manual says to connect to dome light supervision relay (optional). So I need to buy a relay . I guess a 30a is ok?

BLUE multiplex input- used with dual stage sensor(optional).. I do not need this since I am not using optional sensor correct?

Violet- + door trigger input- Not needed since Toyota uses (-) input correct?

I know stupid questions, but I am just trying to figure it out before cutting wires.. LOL

Thanks,

Kevin

Your unit has a built in relay for the starter kill, so you want need the orange wire.   You won't need the WHITE/ blue wire either.

Connect the BLACK/ white wire to your green door trigger wire-- no additional relays are needed.

Use  the blue wire to monitor either the hood or trunk or both if you diode isolate them.

The violet wire won't be used on your vheicle either.

The only wire you need to cut is the starter wire,  everything else is tapped into.

Good Luck!

Do it right the first time

Thanks for the response. It makes the install much easier with this info!
