I have a Cadillac and wanted to hook up an aftermarket c.d. player. The shop I took it to wants to charge me 150 bucks to install because they said they would have to make a harness for it. Can anyone help with this install? If I can tap into the stock harness and make it work please share the information. What else can I do besides pay 150 Bucks!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

That isn't any different than the DeVille...........

Unless U have Bose unit & speakers??
Otherwise just use METRA Wire Adapter # 70-1858 and METRA Kit # 99-4500

Nothing to it

This cadillac does not fit on that plug. It has two plugs , one don't fit anywhere and the other fit on that harness but there isn't any wires on that part of the harness. If anyone can help please do!

No two small ones.Figured out the tuner and all the radio stuff was in the trunk on the passenger side. Had to run all new speaker wires and new hot, ground, and acc.

yeah like you said the tuner is in the trunk on the pass side. you can use the metra 1858 plug back there but you have to extend all the wires to reach to the front of the car. Also you will need to extend the antenna from the back of the car to the front and will need an antenna adaptor to hook up the extension Metra 40gm10
