I have searched the board but not found any info. Can anybody give me a heads up on the radio removal from a PT cruiser.
I have one with poor reception and need to check connections - aerial.
Does anybody know if there are any isssues with these cars and poor radio reception??

Look at the top of the trim bezel that surrounds the radio. Pop out the piece at the top center (window controls?) and unclip it to reveal a screw to remove. I think you also have to pull the heater/ac knobs off as well they should just pull straight off without much force.

Check the splice behind the glovebox. Also check the antenna base for corrosion/decent contact with the sheetmetal.
