where do you start to remove  a headliner from a 2001 suburban with a power sun roof iam trying to get access to mount a allinone dvd player

You dont remove it you cut a hole and mount to the 2 cross braces under the sunroof

Start by taking out the dome light..then look around,or feel around..then you will better understand what you are dealing with..
also i think you can remove the trim around the hole for the sunroof,and pry it apart a little bit,and you can get another view..just dont crease the headliner..
if you remove the a,and b pillar covers that should help dropping the liner a bit..
if you have rear a/c,i think there is something more holding it up near the doors,under the round vents..
little by little..time probably costs less than parts!
Good luck!keep up the q's..i wish i kept better track of stuff like that,I've done probably 50 OH units in the last 4-5 years,but what i keep track of is how a manufacturer does things,so i know how to approach it next time,not screw a,snap b,wire c, etc..
sorry i cant be more accurate,but i am sure you can get it here..from someone..like securinu..
take your time..in case you didn't get that from a couple lines above!..
