i need to know where the vss wire is most easily picked up and the reverse wire.

man, i worked on 2004 dodge rams, and if you find a wire in a diagram , even if it the service manual from the dealership like i did, dont trust it... even the factory remote start for THAT vehicle had the wrong wiring directions. im not sure where the reverse wire would be. but the vss is on the ECM on the front 60 pin connector on the bottom of the engine block, i think it was around pin 15 or so...hahah have fun.. i had to find the tack wire on one. but if you do trust a diagram then test the wire with a multimeter, sorry i couldnt be more help

Vss is on the driver's side fender..... easiest to do is to pick up the driver's side wheel sensor for the ABS... there's 2 wires running to the wheel, pick one.. if not that one, then it's the other (sorry, neglected to write it down last one I did) Reverse can be found in the harness running to rear of truck, same place on driver's side fender.....
