Hi,
I am installing a starter on a 93 Mercery Villager.
It says that it has a cold start wire.
How would I go about hooking that up????
Would it be the 2nd starter output from the starter?
Thanks

You are correct! You would hook it up through a second relay using a negative out from your alarm. This is very common on Toyotas as well and is mandatory when the vehicle is cold. (sometimes it will start ok when the vehicle has just been turned off but won't start if cold). Consult you installlation instructions for the correct output wire.
Best of luck

The second starter wire is RED / green. You need to use a relay tripped by the first statrer wire and the negitive out while starting wire from your remote start. Good luck and its really easy PS If you are already using this wire then you need 2 diodes
