Just wanted to pass this titbit of info...

With installing my remote start/keyless entry; I found that the door wires were easily accessed by removing the dash cover center section, this is the oblonged panel on the center of the dash that has the light sensor for the auto headlights.  The wire bundle for the doors including the dome light runs up and across the underside of this panel with the bundle being directly infront of the passneger's seat, this was a a great location to solder and install the relays necessary to operate the door locks not to mention the ease alone;  had I known this prior, it would have saved me an hour in tearing into the kick panels and trying to find the right wires.

My vehicle was a 97 F150 with power locks and doors without factory remote or PATS, I suspect that most similer F150's would be the same.

All the info I found stated these wires were in the passenger kick panel or behind the drivers fuse panel, perhaps you professionl installer may have already knew this but I wanted to pass my experence along to others.
