You can always use google to help you with all kinds of conversion. If you have their toolbar installed this is extra handy.

the box being square will not effect anything. you may want to get the box down to about 5.1cuft outside measurements due to sub and port displacement the 5.5 is a little large for the enclosure size you are trying to build. if you made ur length say 31" instead of your 33" you would probally be much closer to the specs you are trying to build with. this is all just quick math and i suggest you check it before you start building also remember you need to take all braces into account when subtracting displacement.

OK, I need the measurements for a 4.8 cu ft box.  will 30 x 15 x 15 work, or will should I go with 20 x 15 x 16.  People in this Forum are too smart not to be able to help me build a box for 4.8 cu ft.  Need to have it built before the 19th, when I go to orlando for the florida classic.

thanx

Your box needs to be the size you posted with the exeception of the length which needs to be around 31" as ketel22 quoted in the post above
