I'm installing a in-dash dvd screen into a dodge ram srt-10. After installing it there was no sound. it has the infinity sound system in it, so the wire harness does not have the speaker wires in it. Only input wires for the amp. I need to wire this thing up so it works, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Yeah dude, take your remote turn on wire for you amp and connect it to the turn on lead for the factory Infiniy sound system, I had the same problem in my 1999 Dodge Ram, and all you have to do is connect the amp turn on wire to the wire in the harness, and that should do it for you.

My bad man, cancel that, I need to reread before I post, take the remote turn on wire coming from your H.U. and connect it to the wire coming out of the car that is your remote wire for you factory amp, and your should will come out then, I had the same problem, and it worked for me, just have to find out which wire is your amp turn on wire coming out of the truck.

Is that all that needs to be done? The biggest problem I see is that where the four pairs of speakers wires from the alpine deck go into the Metra harness, there aren't any wires on the top row of the vehicle harness. The vehicle harness does not have all four pairs. It's like I need one of those wire harnesses that they make for Toyota which have constant, switched, ground, illumination, amp turn-on, and two pairs of RCA's that plug into the deck and feed directly from the pre-outs to the factory amp (which I cannot find by the way). The only amp I found is the one for the sub under the center console. Is there an amp somewhere, or are the speakers individually amped right at the speaker? I sure hope not!
