Since the suggestions fourm has been locked I will suggest it here, what are the odds we could get a chat room going for quick response's for the junkie's like myself who are always on the site...with a chat room we can discuss all in real time, just a though

Sounds like a good idear to me, but, it would be kind of hard, because if you are I are talking about interconnects, and they are talkin about what sub you buy, it would just really complicated. We need everyone to post their Instant Messanger screename, and we can talk through there for faster service.

The only problem I have ever seen with a specialized site such as this one which is Geared toward Car audio and the 12 Volt industry is that when people find such a chat room (If its a good Chat site) will start using it for just normal everyday crap just like a public chat room....This would also hender people who are trying to talk about certain aspects of car audio....

Its a cool idea but there would have to be a good moderator or something to keep unwanted people out to keep down on traffic and clutter of the chat itself....

I hope I am clear on what I am trying to say...

I don't think you need to worry about that.. There's hardly ever anyone in there.. You can also ignore any users in the chatroom if using the AIM one..

i think chat rooms, irc rooms, are very efficent for instance feedback. i dont think having daily chatter will affect the idea behind creating it, or having it exist. if people need help, private messaging through irc is not a hard thing and creates a nice log file for future reference
