hi, I did a search, but didn't found any, hope someone can help me with this, I need to know how to turn on the rear window defroster when remote start is activated, what wire do I need to connect to what wire, I have the c3000 compustar system, thanks

it all depends on the car's wiring.  usually you can get the wire at the rear defrost switch, but some times you need to 5-wire it.  you should just do some testing with a DMM on the switch, and use a negative status wire off the RS.  I am not sure about the c3000, but it should have a wire that you use for a bypass module (like 555u,etc) use that to a relay to trigger the wire.  I would 5-wire it just to be safe!

my car is 98 integra, I am thinking of using one of the Aux wire and connecting it directly to the rear defrost wire, would that be ok? btw, would anyone know which wire is the defrost wire? I can not see all the way up to the defrost button, would anyone know where it would it be easier to reach? thanks

you might not even have to connect that wire just make sure all your accesorie wires are powered up as well as your all of the ignition wires too.
