just installed a alarm and remote start on 2000 tahoe. used the dei 555l with a commando lcd alarm. everything worked with the alarm and when i added the start part of it, i got a service engine light. the remote start works and regular starting with key works fine. car runs good no diff. in performance. any ideas or help would be great.

did u power up all of the ign. wires?

i believe that i did, but the light is still on even without the remote start.
