There are two philips screws behind the brake release handle, two at the bottom of the panel, and one on the left side of the panel. After you remove the philips screws, you'll need to remove the brake release cable from the handle by pinching the plastic tabs together and pushing it through the hole. Next remove the one philips screw and ten 10mm bolts holding up the metal panel. Once you remove this metal panel, you will be able to access the ignition harness and the light switch harness with ease.

If you are working on a Grand Caravan, you may have a black panel that you'll want to remove first that is located just above the brake and accellerator pedals held in by two black fasteners. Remove each with a flat head screw driver, turning a 1/4 or 1/2 turn to the left.
