I have a 95 civic 5 speed....currently have a viper c60 installed. Was wondering what anyone would suggest for an add on remote start that will work with the viper? Also what would be the safest way to install the remote start on my car with it being a manual trans. Is there a way to maybe put a set of contacts on the shifter or a mercury switch of some kind that will close a conection like a neutral saftey switch, making sure the car only starts in neutral. Any help would be greatly appreciated....THANKS!!

I wouldn't reccoment doing a remote start on a standard. I doubt you will finy anyone on here that will tell you how to do it.

If you consider doing itmake sure you put on AS MANY PRECAUTIONS AS POSSIBLE!

1) Neutral saftey switch. (Make sure car in in neutral)

2) Parking Brake switch. (Make sure parking brake is on)
3) If door is unlocked and relocked, prevent remote start from working.
4) You can also use a shock sensor to detect car lurch if all of the above somehow fail.
