Dude I though Auex was being kinda harsh in your other posts but when you are asking questions like why doesnt the tach wire turn the car on when the key is out of the tumbler and you are playing with a newer Murano, this is a disaster waiting to happen and you should quit playing with things. I love these boards but they are not how you should learn to install remote starts on New vehicles with $3800 dollar ECM modules you are tying into. Now for the record the imobilizer in this vehicle needs a bypass like a 555U box made by DEI and a spare key that goes inside the box. There is an antenna that goes around the tumbler and then two wires that hook up to the brain. One wire goes to power the other goes to the status output wire. As I said before I would seek help because to say my faith in your abilities is some what shaken is an understatement, also have you hooked up the wire for factory alarm disarm and rearm yet because I know that is fun on that vehicle. Like you said Ravendarat, the computer will run $3800(at least +labor +tech time +diagnostic time +towing, +etc...). If you want to attempt to install a RS on said vehicle take your time and read up. Also post some more specific questions and they will get answered, if by no one else then by me. Also if you were to mess the computer's up, it would most certainly void any warranties that the vehicle has. While the Magnussen-Moss (probably the wrong name) act provides coverage of aftermarket additions it does not cover installer error. Also Nissans are touchy when it comes to the immobilizer, you mess up once then the car won't start even with the correct key and it will go back to the dealership to have the keys recoded to the car.
