1- I have this unit installed in my 99 accord and wondering is it ok that i mounted the gps antenna on the front dash next on windshield with the magnet plate??

2- The ORANGE / white wire says to go to lighting switch terminal, is this so when i switch on my headlights the screen will switch to night mode automatically??

thanks,

Jon

Yes it is ok if the gps antenna is located on the dash. If you would like the illumination dimmer to activate automatically, then yes you need to connect the ORANGE / white wire to the headlight switch

It dims slightly but doesn't change to night mode.  In the manual it says there is a light sensor on top of the unit that detects sunlight, etc... thats why it dims slightly.
