Installed a Pioneer AVIC N1 into wife's expedition and lost the factory sub because Crutchfield didn't have the sub adapter.  The adapter they sent was for the 03 and had a RCA plug to plug into the AVIC.  I didn't match the factory side plug.  Does anyone know where I can get the plug for an 04 Expedition to keep the factory sub, or any way to hard wire something to get the factory sub playing?  (The factory head unit was a 6 disc changer, if that helps)

What kind of connection was on the factory side?

on the explorer there was an eight pin connector, RED / blk was turn on, there was a unshielded wire, and the other two were signal,  I cut a RCA put the center wire to one signal and the shielding wire to the other.  then hooked up to the non fader on the head unit, turned on the low pass x-over on the unit, put like a 1800 ohm resistor on the turn on, to remove turn on pop.  It worked great, gave the customer non fade control on factory sub.

"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.
